Say it out loud – Vakhtery (UA) playback theatre performance

The Ukrainian playback theatre team Vakhtery was on tour in Vilnius at the beginning of the war. The whole cast stayed there for almost three years. It is not an easy and interesting story. But at the beginning of 2025, on January 5, the Vakhtery will come to Liepaja to listen and play the stories of local people.

What do we live, what do we care about, what do we want to share, what do we want to keep silent about?

A playback performance is always a unique and unrepeatable experience of participating in something more than a personal story. During the performance, actors embody the stories of storytellers from the audience on stage. The stories intertwine with each other in invisible connections and at the end, all participants feel much more included in Life than before they began.
