描述
Playback theatre training in Vilnius is open for enrolment year-round through the Core Training programme of the Baltic School of Playback Theatre and Psychodrama (BPTPS). This foundational course introduces improvisation, working with real audience stories, and the essentials of playback performance. It is a living art: people tell their stories of life and love, and the ensemble plays them back on stage right away. In fact, this form grew out of the international 一人一故事 movement. You don’t need to be an actor — it’s enough to want to try, to play, to listen, and to be heard.
Vilnius already knows this course. We held our first Core Training in Vilnius in 2026, together with our local partner Playback Theatre in Lithuania. Overall, this new intake builds on that first group and brings the training back to the city.
Course leader
Dr. 奥列娜·卡拉什尼科娃 (MD, PhD) leads the course. She is an accredited Playback Theatre trainer (一人一故事剧场中心, New York). Moreover, she co-founded both the Baltic School of Playback Theatre and Psychodrama and the Ukrainian School of Playback Theatre. As a result, the group gains a teacher with deep clinical, academic, and stage experience.
