Playback Theater

Playback theater is suitable for anyone interested in studying and applying it. To be a playback theatre actor, you don’t need any special qualities. The training program helps you better understand yourself, your strengths, and interaction strategies within the ensemble. Some people love leading roles, while others create amazing story depth by playing supporting roles. Playback theater offers unlimited variations of developing acting skills in an environmentally friendly manner, based on the qualities with which a person came into this world. The mission of the playback theatre movement is to serve people. For this mission, our qualities are always sufficient. Each actor is a unique individual, and this is the most important thing we expect from their actions on stage. Use your human qualities, elevating their use to art. Therefore, there are no unsuitable people. The only limitation is the willingness to work in an ensemble, allowing each participant to be themselves and express themselves, without limiting the expression of other actors.

Age is also not a limitation. Adult playback teams are formed from participants aged 18 and older and have no upper age limit. At any age, it is possible to master the profession of a playback theatre actor, and if you are 80+ and feel vibrant and want to try it out, your life experience and the privilege of maturity can help other ensemble members see different perspectives of life. Children’s and adolescent groups for training playback theatre actors have their own specific features and are carried out through separate programs, taking into account age characteristics. Playback is also accessible to people with special needs – but it requires a special approach. In this case, we strive to create groups where all participants feel comfortable, and for quality training, we involve trainers with experience in such groups.

Age restrictions:

  1. Adult groups: 18 – no limitations
  2. Adolescent groups: 14 – 18 years old
  3. Children’s groups – 9-12 years old Training Programs
