Playback theatre training in Tallinn<\/strong> is open for enrolment through the Core Training programme of the Baltic School of Playback Theatre and Psychodrama<\/a> (BPTPS). This foundational course introduces improvisation, working with real audience stories, and the essentials of playback performance. It is a living art: people tell their stories of life and love, and the ensemble plays them back on stage right away. In fact, this form grew out of the international Playback Theatre<\/a> movement. You don’t need to be an actor \u2014 it’s enough to want to try, to play, to listen, and to be heard.<\/p>\n

Playback theatre training in Tallinn is new \u2014 and it is here to stay. Endel Hango first brought BPTPS Core Training to Estonia in \u0422\u0430\u0440\u0442\u0443<\/a>. Now he is establishing regular Core Training in Tallinn. As a result, the city gets its own ongoing playback community, and this first intake opens that series.<\/p>\n

Course leader<\/h2>\n

\u0415\u043d\u0434\u0435\u043b\u044c \u0425\u0430\u043d\u0433\u043e<\/strong> leads the course. He is an accredited Playback Theatre trainer and a Psychodrama TEP, the highest training level in psychodrama. Moreover, he founded the Tartu Theatre of Spontaneity<\/a> and works closely with the Estonian Psychodrama Institute. As a result, the group learns from a teacher rooted in Estonia’s own theatre and psychodrama scene.<\/p>\n

The course runs for 30 hours across two inspiring weekends, and we deliver it as two modules. Each weekend combines hands-on practice, group work, and reflection. We teach in Estonian, Russian, and English. Finally, every participant receives a \u0421\u0435\u0440\u0442\u0438\u0444\u0456\u043a\u0430\u0442<\/strong> in Playback Theatre Core Training upon completion.<\/p>\n
